(Class 2) Fast OCR text search, hundreds of thousands of pages in seconds

I am making two MS VFP classes available under the umbrella "Hayward >>>>>LightSp>>d >>>>>>>>>"

One is called "LightSpeed™ MultiSelect" [see Grid above] (selecting more than one record, in the manner of MS Windows Explorer.) In Visual FoxPro, you previously did not have MultiSelect capability in a grid. A ListBox allows MultiSelect, but that is too slow for hundreds of thousands, or millions of records. I can now provide you with a grid where you multiselect similar to Microsoft Windows Explorer (SHIFT + click highlights all the records between two points, CTR + click adds/removes record highlight). This works for up to 16 million records, instantaneously. Yes, I know. That is a laughable claim if I can't do it. This came about because I was dealing with a ListBox that slowing down to a crawl after one hundred thousand records. That was unacceptable, so I found a way to add MultiSelect to a grid, which of course is MUCH faster.

Also, the MultiSelect class includes a Reverse Index feature if you click on the column header. And, it includes Incremental Search on any column that has an index. (Note: the MultiSelect function works even if you don't have an index. Only the Incremental Search requires an index on any column you wish to use it on.)

The other class is called "LightSpeed™ Search". This class allows you to search text at the rate of about 50,000 pages per second. More information later.

I live in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
Each class (without source code) costs [call 773-209-2906 for costs]. They save a lot of time for your users.
I can provide you with free evaluation demonstration files, which are limited to the first 1000 records, so you can see what they do.

The class with source code is negotiable, but the cost would be high, and it would require a non-disclosure agreement.
For the first time, VFP MultiSelect grids working at LightSpeed™ are available.

I have been developing in FoxPro since 1990, when I started with FoxBase. I specialize in Speed Optimizing of Visual FoxPro programs, so feel free to call if you have a great need for speed. My resume is available upon request. Also, you can see my profile on Universal Thread.
